Grade Calculation and GPA
Grades are determined by the following formulas:
- Quarter Average = (33% x Quiz Average) + (67% x Test Average)
- Semester Average = (40% x 1 Quarter Average) + (40% x 2 Quarter Average) + (20% x Semester Exam)
- Yearly Grade = (50% x 1st Semester) + (50% x 2nd Semester)
All grades will be given in numeric value.
A = 100 to 90 B = 89 to 80 C = 79 to 70 D = 65 to 69 F = 64 to 0
The chart below shows how the GPA will be calculated for high school credit courses.
