Brief History of

Calvary Baptist Church Academy

  • Calvary Baptist Church opened its doors in 1961.
  • Calvary Baptist Church Academy, a ministry of Calvary Baptist Church, was established in 1973.
  • The elementary school was built in 1976.
  • The first school sports teams were in 1979.
  • The high school was built in 1980.
  • Our first high school graduates were in 1981.
  • Our previous administrator, Mr. John Bandy, arrived in 1987.
  • The modular classrooms were added in 1999.
  • Donald White became the pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in 2008.
  • Our current administrator, Mr. George Kirychuk, took the position in 2020 after teaching for over 25 years.
